Oh, boy! You ladies made it so difficult to pick just a few favourites for my Truffle Parade. I tip my hat to all of you for doing such an amazing job!
Without a doubt, one of my very favourites was this fantastic floral and leopard Tuffle made by my talented co-hostess, the lovely Erin of Miss Crayola Creepy. I love absolutely everything about this dress! The print is fantastic (I am drooling!), the fit is just wonderful, and the purple sash adds the perfect finishing touch. And did you see her cute shoes and glasses?! Well done, Erin!!
Toasty Knits and Sews blew me away with her sassy red Truffle. I love the rich colour and the black ribbon accents are so pretty! I love how the ribbon on the flounce really draws attention to the lovely drape of the fabric.
I am a sucker for a great printed dress and Jirian's stole my heart right from the start. The colours are so pretty and suit her so well. I love how the flounced almost disappears against the pattern - amazing!
Last, but certainly not least, VolcanoMouse's pretty pink Truffle really speaks to my Inner Elle Woods (oh, how I adore pink!). I love how she has accessorized it with that terrific mustard necklace and cute belt. Despite her laments that she should have made another muslin, I really love this version and think it fits her well. Well done!
Next month we tackle Taffy, which I am really looking forward to. I don't know about you, but I have found that my confidence in using 'tricky' fabrics has really increased since the sew-along started. Thank goodness Sarai wrote such a fantastic book! Whatever did we do without it?
