Packet tracer is an interactive software for learning basicoperations of the various networking devices on the data link layer and layerof the OSI networking model. This software is intended for initial teachingnetworking so that the user can understand how some networking devices. Itcould be said that a packet tracer is a network simulation program, so userscan build their own networks, observed "behavior" of the data framesand packets that pass through routers, switches, and other equipment. The mainpurpose we use Packet tracer is to help us understand the basic functions ofthe various networking devices, and how the equipment handles frames andpackets.
