Password Safe is a freeand open source software program for storing passwords in Microsoft Windows. Abeta version is also available for Ubuntu and Debian operating systems. AJava-based version is also available on SourceForge.
This is the way - a wayto use it :
After filling in themaster password the user has access to all account data entered and savedpreviously. The data can be organized by categories, searched, and sorted basedon references which are easy for the user to remember. The key combinationCtrl+C copies the password of a selected account into the clipboard, Ctrl+Ucopies user ID. The program can be set to minimize automatically after a periodof idle time and clears the clipboard. It is possible to compare and synchronizetwo different password databases.
