Happy Monday + Weekend Rundown

Happy Monday my loves!

Like the usual, we're all back to work but all is well especially if you had a good weekend. I know I have. Here's a rundown.

• I accidentally bummed into a college friend whom I haven't seen in almost 3 years.
• Watched a horrifying movie but nonetheless I enjoy the good company of friends
• Found a great bargain for my beauty essentials; mascara, makeup remover, hair mousse and shampoo.
• Had a lovely Thai food and mango sago dessert for Saturday's lunch.
• Cooked pancake with strawberry jam for Sunday's brunch.

{Thoughts} New Apartment... Again

I’ve moved into a new apartment yet again!

Moving into a new apartment is not exactly a fun thing. For one, boxing everything up is already too much of a task, much more arranging every room. But that’s a part of it. I need change (we all do) and it’s for the better.

I'm just looking forward to so many good things. The year is about to end and it's nice to kick it off earlier with this.

Preppy Chic

I took these pictures in Montego Bay and now, I am back home to my reality - school starts in less than two weeks. I don't know if I am totally ready for school ... I need to get back to my nerdy ways.

My weekend was relaxing and fun. Friday was my friend's birthday. She decided she wanted a mini gathering for a game night with friends. It went from game night to girls' talk. I didn't get home until 4am and I had to wake up at 7am for a volunteer service the next day.  It was definitely a fun night.

This weekend, I saw three movies - Transformers , Final Destination 5, and The Help.... all great movies. 'Final Destination' will definitely keep you on your feet--loved the adrenaline rush! On the other hand, "The Help" is just too great for words--a must-see!

Friday Fun

Singing: It's Friday, Friday -- Gonna get down on Friday! LOL! I love Fridays. For me, today signifies more time for me plus more sleep.

My friend Bisi and I were a bit jobless so we decided to go window shopping at Pier 1 Imports. We both love interior decorating so much that we sometimes go to model homes around my house and observe the way they decorate the interiors. Personally, I am obsessed with art decors, paintings and Moroccan themed items.

I had no idea Pier 1 Imports sell masks. After trying on a few, I felt like buying them for a mask/costume party that I will love to have.  I admired the masks and afterwards, we grabbed some smoothies at Panera bread.

Into the blue

Hey! How is everyone doing today? It is nice and sunny outside. I went hiking earlier and now I am hungry. :D  This weekend has been calm and fun so far.

I am having a restful weekend. I have been so busy that on Saturday I slept from 4p to 9p. I usually don't take naps; so you can guess what happened after I woke up at 9pm...I stayed up until the early morning.

Yeah! It's my birthday

Yeah! It's my birthday! Well, few hours ago May 15th :-) I had a fun birthday weekend with my girlfriends in New York. I can't wait to share the pictures from my birthday weekend. Before then, I took these fun pre-birthday pictures in anticipation of my actual birthday. It was fun blowing up the balloons and walking and getting my feet wet.

Throughout this weekend, it has been non-stop fun activities. I have barely slept in the past 2 days due to the fun surrounding my birthday weekend; so I am going to head off to the dream land. Enjoy the pictures and keep checking back for NY pictures ;-)

Hello! Hello! Hello! I feel like I have been gone for too long. I had a good weekend, but extremely busy. As am typing, I am supposed to be fixing up my favor boxes--150 boxes to be precise.
